The Heart of Hospitality Award is The Above and Beyond Foundation’s highest honor.
This award is for dedicated, hospitality career-driven front-line workers who consistently go “above and beyond” in their job, demonstrate our core values, are committed to their career, and embody the heart of hospitality.
Grant Amount: $10,000 (International grant amount based on honoree salary equivalent)
PLEASE NOTE: Nominations are CONFIDENTIAL. Please do not inform your nominee of this award. The awards ceremony is a SURPRISE. Your will be advised if your nominee has been selected for the award.
Qualifications:
Applications will be accepted from hospitality industry employers
The person submitting the application must hold a senior management position with the employer
Nominees must be front-line/non-managerial workers
Stand-alone restaurant workers do not qualify
Each employer may submit one application per year - applications are valid for one year
The nominee must have completed a minimum of 2 years of employment with the employer and 10 years in the hospitality industry
Employer agrees to hold a town-hall type awards ceremony where grant will be presented to the winner in front of their peers as a surprise.
Both employer and winner agree to publicity, including photos, interviews, and social media posts
